Elevating the e-commerce experience: website design for a Danish sleep and rest product company
And Now You Sleep is a Copenhagen-based company that develops functional and aesthetic products to ease insomnia, stress and anxiety and introduce calmness and inner peace to your life. Company faced the challenge of creating an online platform that fully embodies their physical showroom and provides users with a seamless experience while shopping for their products.
Our goal here was to make it easy for users to purchase their products and to introduce And Now You Sleep brand values of calmness and inner peace to their online presence. To address these challenges, we created a visual concept, website, and e-commerce platform that accurately represents their brand ethos.
Visual Concept
We took design and color inspiration form stunningly beautiful look-book photographs, and the visual patterns used in the product collection. These elements have dictated a color combination of light beige, pale cerulean and white. We have, as well, invited an airy, slightly unconventional layout design to create a more unique character to the overall look-and-feel.
E-Shop Functionalities
We paired serene and calming aesthetics with bespoke functionality, such as a sleep credit system, dual language, and currency options, a user account with multiple features, a blog function, and locally popular payment methods to enhance user experience.
Responsive Design
We also ensured that the website was responsive and easy to shop on mobile devices. This responsive design not only improved the user experience but also increased visibility on Google, leading to increased sales results.
The Result
The new And Now You Sleep website accurately represented the company's physical showroom, creating a full universe around sleep and rest.
