Creating a renewed, purpose-driven, and accessible website for a leadership & D&I expert
Against a backdrop of increasing demands on leaders and organisations, inspirational speaker, coach, and business activator Liesbeth Dillen helps teams succeed by putting people first. She champions leadership practices that are future-proof, sparking positive change through keynotes, coaching, and initiatives that shift perspectives.
A few years after developing her brand identity, we partnered again — this time to reimagine her online presence so it reflected her evolving vision and resonated with a broader, more diverse audience.
The callenge ahead
Although Liesbeth had a strong personal brand, her website no longer reflected the warmth, creativity, and future-focused thinking that shaped her work. The design felt too formal and static, and the messaging didn’t fully express the “why” behind her services. What she needed was a website that felt youthful and vibrant, communicated with clarity, and embedded accessibility from the very start.
How we approached it
Refreshing the visual identity
We moved away from a traditional style — marked by serif fonts and a dark green palette — and embraced an optimistic, flowing design language. Soft pastel shapes created approachability and movement, while bold accents of dark blue and orange added energy and confidence. The result was a visual identity that mirrors Liesbeth’s coaching style — uplifting yet grounded, creative yet strategic.
Designing for everyone
Accessibility was treated as a foundation, not an afterthought. Built in Webflow, the site was structured with semantic HTML, accessible colour contrasts, clear keyboard and screen reader navigation, and descriptive alt text. We complemented the build with formal accessibility evaluation and documentation, including an Accessibility Statement and an Accessibility Conformance Report.
The site works seamlessly across devices, ensuring every visitor can easily explore her services, watch videos, and get in touch.
Copywriting that inspires action
Alongside the design refresh, we helped shape a new voice for the site. Services were reframed into a clear, benefit-driven structure — Keynotes, Leadership Coaching, and Growth Plans — each supported by inspiring copy that highlights their impact. Initiatives such as SHE Works with Women were presented through storytelling, emphasising their values and making her broader mission tangible.
What changed
The renewed website now feels alive — vibrant, inspiring, and inclusive, just like Liesbeth herself. It serves as an open and accessible space for leaders and teams of all backgrounds to connect with her work, experience her vision, and explore her offerings. With a visual identity that reflects her personality and messaging that speaks directly to her audience’s needs, the platform positions her not just as a consultant, but as a catalyst for courageous, creative leadership.
